New Industry Standard Contracts for Home Builders

You might not think much of an outdated contract until a project goes wrong. A comprehensive, well-written contract could save your project and even your business. AIA Contract Documents (the company that created industry standard contracts for commercial projects) has now released standard contracts for home builders. These new agreements include contract language to help manage risk on single family residential projects, clearly define the roles and responsibilities of the parties, and address issues specific to residential design and construction.
