Robin G. Banks is a partner with the law firm of Goldberg & Banks, P.C. in Baltimore, Maryland. She received her B.A. degree, with honors, in Economics, from the University of Delaware, Phi Beta Kappa, and her J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
Ms. Banks’ practice focuses on all areas of construction law. She represents clients across the construction spectrum, including developers and owners, design professionals, construction managers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ms. Banks has authored articles, co-authored chapters, and spoken on a wide range of design and construction-related topics, including AIA Contract Documents. In addition to her construction practice, Ms. Banks serves as outside legal counsel to the AIA Contract Documents Committee and has been directly involved with developing, reviewing, and updating AIA Contract Documents, including the 2014 and forthcoming 2024 Design-Build Documents, 2019 Construction Manager Documents, 2017 Design-Bid-Build Documents, and 2015 Teaming Agreement.
Ms. Banks is listed in “The Best Lawyers in America” and “Maryland Super Lawyers”. She is also a member of the American Bar Association Forum on the Construction Industry, Maryland State Bar Association, and District of Columbia Bar Association, and an Allied Member of the National American Institute of Architects.
