Wolf Saar is the Co-Managing Principal of Perkins Eastman’s Seattle and Vancouver, BC offices. An award-winning architect and community leader, Wolf has led all aspects of architectural practice throughout a career spanning over 40 years. He is recognized for his leadership in the completion of a diverse portfolio of projects for private, not-for-profit, and public clients in the Puget Sound Region, nationally and internationally.
As an architect, Wolf has a passion for giving back to the profession and has served on the Washington State University School of Design and Construction’s Professional Advisory Board, chaired the City of Seattle’s East Design Review Board, and currently serves on the Implementation Advisory Committee at Seattle University. As a leader at the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Wolf has served on the Management Group and chaired the Contract Documents Committee, served two terms as Director, Board Member, and Treasurer for AIA Seattle, and chaired the national Continuing Education Services (CES) committee.
Wolf graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Washington State University and received a Design Firm Leadership and Management certificate from the University of Washington. He is a registered architect in Washington, New York, and Connecticut, as well as in British Columbia, Canada. Wolf is a member of the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects and is actively involved in mentorship nationally within the Institute and his firm. He is a regular speaker at universities and conferences, focusing on professional practice.
