Michaela Kendall is the Manager of Strategic Partnerships for AXA XL’s Design Professional line of business. She oversees key industry and market relationships. Her responsibilities include supporting AXA XL’s national program partnerships with architect, engineering, and design industry associations, and leading marketing efforts for AXA XL’s Design Professional line. Her team also partners with the Professional Liability Agents Network (PLAN) and manages the Design Professional Risk Control Group (DPRCG) program. Prior to her current role, Michaela served as an underwriting manager. She transitioned to Design Professional underwriting after spending three years as a senior claims specialist. Before joining AXA XL in 2015, she spent nearly a decade in private legal practice, where she served the insurance industry working on E&O and Commercial P&C claims litigation. Michaela received her Bachelor of Art Degree from the University of Notre Dame, a Master of Arts Degree from the University of Chicago, and her Juris Doctor from the Emory University School of Law.
