Using BIM on Your Next Project? Manage Risk with New 2022 Digital Practice Documents

In July 2022, AIA Contract Documents released new Building Information Modeling (BIM) documents that replace the 2013 versions.  This webinar contains an in-depth analysis of these documents, which include exhibits, a BIM Execution Plan, and model element tables. Expert presenters explain the new structure of the documents, some new terms included within the documents, and the rationale and intent behind some of the changes. The presenters also evaluate the risks and benefits of enumerating a Model Version as a Contract Document, which is permitted under one of the new BIM exhibits.

Viewers will walk away with valuable resources, guides and additional information that will assist them in understanding the legal implications of BIM and how to reflect its use in their contract documents.
