Joint Ventures are risky endeavors. During this session, you’ll learn how to identify and understand the various risks associated with a joint venture, including your exposure to joint and several liability. Through an evaluation of the AIA’s newly updated C101-2018, Joint Venture Agreement for Professional Services, the presenters will examine how practitioners can properly structure their joint venture relationship and mitigate risks through contractual provisions. By attending this program, attendees will gain valuable information to assist them to better understand joint venture relationships and how to identify, understand, and manage the unique risks posed by joint venture relationships.
