Reduce Headaches: The Residential Remodelers Guide to Contracts

Properly written contract documents are one of the most important tools to a successful construction project, no matter how small. AIA Contract Documents has recently released AIA Document A113-2022, Standard form of Agreement Between Owner and Contractor for Remodel of a Single Family Home- the first AIA document geared specifically toward residential remodeling. A113-2022 is intended to be used for a relatively straightforward home remodeling project, such as a kitchen or bathroom remodel.
