Transmitting reliable building information through digital models is a rapidly emerging trend. There are significant risks in this process however – models can convey information that the author does not intend.

The industry has historically dealt with this situation through a “for reference only” disclaimer. The promise of BIM, though, has long been seen as enhanced collaboration. The keys lie in accurately communicating which information the author intends others to rely on and in properly managing and controlling the risks. This session will empower you to safely and confidently provide models that others can rely on.
