Benjamin C. Adkins, Esq. serves as Manager and Counsel with the AIA Contract Documents team, where he works closely with the Documents Committee to develop and revise AIA Contract Documents and associated material. Ben received his undergraduate degree from Ohio University and his Juris Doctor (magna cum laude) from Capital University Law School. Prior to joining AIA Contract Documents, Ben practiced civil litigation as a construction law attorney at an Am Law 100 firm in Columbus, Ohio, where he represented general contractors and subcontractors throughout all phases of construction projects, including contract negotiation, disputes and claims arising during project performance, and post-completion litigation and arbitration. Ben is admitted to practice law in Ohio, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
