Lane Beougher is the Chief Building Official for the State of Ohio. He previously served as a code administrator for the Board of Building Standards, program manager for the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission, State Architect in the Department of Administrative Services, and an architect in private practice. Lane has more than 30 years of facilities planning, architectural design, specifications preparation, and construction administration experience. He graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in architecture and from Capella University with a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in project management. Lane served on the Advisory Group for the AIA Public Architects Committee 2008-12 and the AIA Documents Committee 2014-23. He is currently a special subject matter liaison to the Documents Committee.
